  Should I be paying a professional App developer to develop my app or should I be doing it myself? I have no experience in this field!

  I have a great idea for an android/apple app and want to get it made, I can pay 10k+. Where can I post it so that I don’t have to pay a % to a third party but can deal directly with the developers?

  I have been looking for websites which review Android apps , not only that being a developer i have always wanted a unbiased review of my app , so that everyone comes to know what my app is all about.

  Have you heard of the photo app for phones and other electronic devices? Well, people post any kind of photo there with their iPhones or their androids. It’s become really mainstream to tag people, with their “@” signs and to follow people and hit like, comment and what not, but a lot of rich kids have been showing off their fortune. Interestingly, when people follow them, they gain a sense of where they live, and there have been some incidents where they were literally robbed.

  I recently got some apk (application) files and when I go to install them using Astro File Manager my phone says that it cannot let me install the application because my phone is set to block installation of applications not sourced in the Android Market.

  I’ve always been into this kind of stuff, but I’ve never learned any kind of java programming. I know HTML but that’s the easiest and most simple coding. How hard is it to learn java, and can you actually make a decent amount of money from apps? I’m not talking about thousands of dollars a month, but is maybe $500 to $1000 practical for someone who does it on the side just for fun?

  Is there a way to resize android app ?
  From one res to another ? Say from quarter HD to a smaller resolution ? (Not a developer , What I mean is to resize apps meant for quarter high definition to smallers)

  or are they some kind of renderings of the source code to something unreadable for humans?

  Can an average app developer look into the code of the apps he buys on ios/android?
  or in other words, is there an editor which enables opening or modifying a ready apk or ipa app, or is the proces of exporting to these formats “destructive”?

  I’m really trying to get into something, I know iPhone app developers make so much more money, but I simply don’t have an Apple computer. I feel like my associate degree in computer programming isn’t going to be enough and I thought about going farther into depth with C#.

  Anyways outside my question, can I use my C# skills towards Android?

  I am not computer savy, but I am not computer ignorant. I have been searching all day for the EASIEST, and SIMPLEST way to do it, it is 2.3.3 and I want the stock rom thing, I want to keep my play store and change the entire phones font. I need step by step by step instructions and direct links to all downloads, dont give me a link for a forum or anything to read. I tried superoneclick, got stuck at step seven. I tried gingerbreak.apk and sent it straight to its own folder on my sd, and have watched and read countless how to’s with no sucess. I just want it rooted with the stock rom, and those google apps that install themselves off, change my font, please dont assume I know anything, explai. Everysingle thing and terms.

  I have a new Android HTC2. I would like to change some of the apps as Android (i.e. keyboard, marketplace apps) but I do not yet want to install a Android OS over windows and jeopardize my warranty on the phone. Is there a way to do this? Please help. Thanks.
