  I live in the south and we never get snow. How can I get good a snowboarding and secure at Burton sponsorship?
  I will be snowboarding only once or twice a year and I need to make the most of that time. What can I do to improve my skills without actually snowboarding?

  I am a new snowboarder and I recently just went snowboarding for a couple days, but I could not get the hang of it for the time we were there. It really wasn’t fun and I don’t know whether to keep going. So does it get better, and is it easy to get better once you have mastered the basics?

  If you’re any good at snowboarding at all please give me tip on how not to look like a complete idiot on a snowboard tomorrow! Anything helps, so please post something.

  I was planning on going snowboarding tomorrow but the high temperature is only supposed to be 8 degrees. Do you think that is to cold to bother going? I usually like going during the day when most people are at work or school but I don’t want to waste my money on a lift ticket and end up being miserable.

  I’ve already got the jacket, gloves and trousers. I will be hiring snowboarding equipment such as the boots and board.

  I am a complete beginner and i’m not sure which additional equipment i need to get.

  I will definitely buy goggles. What about elbow and knee pads? Helmets? wrist guards? any others i haven’t thought of?

  I’ll be snowboarding for the first time for 4 days/3 nights. It is 28 degrees where I’m going right now and my body has never been in anything under 40 degrees. I’m not sure the types of clothes I should buy or how much of it to buy. I want to be as comfortable/warm as possible without spending more money than I need to. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’m a guy, if it matters.

  I am going snowboarding, and renting all of my equipment at the place.
  (I don’t go often enough to make it worth purchasing my own equipment). I’ve done my research, and many people say it’s better to wear a helmet. So my question is, would it be strange to wear a skateboard helmet to the slopes? Would it be better to rent an actual snowboarding helmet?

  I have an old DSC-P71 and it took amazing shots of my friends out snowboarding. I started to get megapixel envy and upgraded to a Canon S70 but all the photos came out blurred. I sold that and bought a Sony DSC-P100 but that also took very blurry photos. So I went back to my old 3 megapixel friend. Now, the view finder has broken, and I need to get another digital camera.

  It has to be Sony, as I have 2x 4gb memory stick pro duos, and I don’t want to buy additional memory.

  It has to take great action shots out of the box, and be small. I don’t want to have to make a million adjustments, just switch it on and take amazing photos of my friends taking jumps and such.

  Any advice on the N2, W100, W7 or older Sony digital cameras from snowboarders or skiers is much appreciated.

  i don’t mean going down a hill at my house or neighborhood. i mean technique’s i can do to practice for snowboarding. also what can i make to help me too. ex…home made box or rail.
  and for the people saying get a skateboard. i’ll tell you this, snowboards use edges stakeboards uses wheels. two different things.

  I snowboard obviously and I’m lookin to find a snowboarding lanyard (ie long clothish keychain) I would like a Burton or fourm lanyard (or any other popular snowboarding brand) but I can’t seem to come across one. I’ve check a few websites and still nothing. Thanks for any help!

  I am going snowboarding in a couple of days and I need a cute way to wear my hair with just a regular skiing hat on. When my hair is straitened and it gets wet it will get ugly and wavy so i need a cute style to make it look cute even if it get’s wet.

  Can you just tell me the basics of snowboarding? I ride goofy and I allways have trouble turning to the left. Also, when I turn to the right, I allways pick up to much speed and I dont know how to stop and i eat shit everytime! So to sum it all up, how to stop and how to turn. please.

  I live in Colorado so I go snowboarding all the time and everything and in the summer, I usually miss it a lot! So now I’ve found out that they have snowboard camps and stuff and I was just wondering how do they work? Since it’s in the summer, are there even places with snow? What do they do at those camps and just what goes on?

  My friend is going snowboarding for her first time, and she has really bad knees. Her knee caps are easily dislocated due to stretched out ligaments. Do you think snowboarding is too dangerous for her?

  Trying to get extra in shape for the Aussie snowboarding season. I have been doing a lot of cardio (at least 45minutes 5 days a week) and some strength training including squats on the hard side of a bosu (it’s like half a swiss ball with a hard bottom for balancing) lunges, crunches, dips, leg raises & push ups.

  Is this the right kind of exercise to get myself in the best shape for snowboarding this year? What else can I be doing?

  I love snowboarding and am going to college in only a year and a half and have decided that i want to do something related to what i love most, snowboarding.

  i love drawing and i currently am taking painting so graphic/board design could be an idea but what other careers are out there?

  I’m planning on taking a trip to the mountains to go snowboarding with a couple buddies. All of our cars are front wheel drive. I’ve never gone snowboarding so I don’t exactly know if i will need a 4wd or not.

  I want to go snowboarding with family of four during Spring Break (March. 21-30) anywhere during these days. I can’t afford to pay out thousands and thousands of dollars.

  We are in Virginia. We just moved here from Hawaii a few months ago. First time seeing snow!!!!

  Anywhere close for snowboarding? How much does it cost?

  I am 13 years old, 14 soon, I began snowboarding when I was 11, I can make S’s, but can’t do much beyond that. I go snowboarding six times a year, and take four lessons a year. Some times I will go more. I can jump, but no tricks, is it too late? I would love becoming pro one day.
  Money and time is an issue, thats why I only go 6 times a year, its not that I dont want to snowboard,

  hey i live in North Carolina so my snowboarding season is over. I will be wake-boarding a ton this summer . Though i’ve heard about these freebords which is supposedly snowboarding on concrete? anyone know how close it is to snowboarding and if it would make a good alternative over the summer or if i should stick with wakeboarding?

  For the past years, i have been going skiing during the winter and i’m pretty good at it. This year I want to change it up and try snowboarding. Some people say it takes a month, years, or only less than a day. I’m not sure what to believe, so do you know how long it takes to get the hang of snowboarding?
